Just Keep Swimming

This poem is a little reminder :)

Just keep Swimming

Life has truly been a journey to say the least. Just when you expect the peace, more thunder keeps storming in, like a beast. Keeping you off balance and peace. It’s like when you just built your sandcastle and it all fell astray, the sandcastle sieged. Because of the tides, crashing far into the beach. Yet those moments that throw you off balance, making you teeter totter. Making you feel the hurt, the pain, the sadness, the moments that make you feel bothered. Are the moments of true growth and brilliance. Those are the instances, That make you remember who you are, All the faith you have, and all the confidence you have inside of you; you are a star. Keep going, you will get through it, beautiful you will.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. You truly are the superheroes of all time. I was debating on whether to share the poem below with the world or not, but after I read it aloud to my mom she wanted me to share. Most of my writing actually doesn’t get shared out, but here’s a piece of my heart below:

Mother’s Day 2020

Your love is like the sun, the skies and heavens - Endless and there daily without abandon.  That has watched me sprout  And has given me the route To stand tall. Always doing what’s right;  Rejoicing in the light  Turning me into someone beautiful and strong  But to stand with a slight bend, and to remember to approach blossoming through life with humility and grace In conclusion, as I have turned into a colorful flower, you’ve taught me that life is a combination of both strength, grace, and endless support and love

Thank you for giving me that. I love you until the end of time Mom!

There you have it! Tell me your thoughts, and please feel free to share this poem with your mom!
